Nolij Corporation, the leading provider of higher education focused document imaging and workflow solutions and the recognized leader in providing forms processing and data integration middle-ware technology to higher education, is seeking qualified individuals to fill the role of Professional Services Web Consultant. The Nolij Consultant is primarily responsible for the installation and configuration of the Nolij software and the associated customer training. Frequent travel is a requirement.
The position requires significant customer interaction and in many cases the individual must provide functional and technical support to system users, answer client questions regarding system functionality, respond to special requests, log trouble reports, and investigate and resolve client issues all in real time.
The individual is expected to have a working understanding of higher education business processes, anticipate and/or identify customer needs, and develop business process improvements through the use of Nolij technology. The individual must be able to analyze end-user requirements and incorporate those needs into the configuration or customization of Nolij products. The individual is expected to build a relationship with the customer and to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience
Experience with business process analysis and reengineering
Experience working with multiple databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Informix, Unidata, or DB2)
Experience with database programming (e.g. PL/SQL, SQR, T-SQL, stored procedures)
Experience working with database development tools (SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, Toad, etc.)
Experience installing, configuring and supporting web applications
Experience gathering user requirements and configuring production software accordingly
Experience working within higher education on SunGard Banner, PeopleSoft, Datatel, Jenzabar, or similar technology
Experience traveling for business on a full-time basis
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with document imaging and workflow technology
Experience installing, configuring and supporting high speed document scanners
Experience working with multiple desktop (Windows 2000, XP, Macintosh OS X) and server (Windows Server, Linux, Solaris) environments
