Nolij Corporation (“Nolij”), the leading provider of document imaging & workflow solutions and data integration/middle-ware technology for higher education, is seeking qualified individuals for its Professional Services organization. The position with the job title, Senior Consultant, is primarily responsible for the installation and configuration of the Nolij's software and the associated customer training. Frequent travel is a requirement.
The position requires significant customer interaction and in many cases the individual must provide functional and technical support to system users, answer client questions regarding system functionality, respond to special requests, log trouble reports, and investigate and resolve client issues all in real time.
The individual is expected to learn the business processes of Nolij's higher education customers, anticipate and/or identify customer needs, and develop business process improvements through the use of Nolij technology. The individual must be able to analyze end-user requirements and incorporate those needs into the Nolij products. The individual is expected to build a relationship with the customer and to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent educational experience
3+ years* of experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, Informix, Unidata, or DB2 databases
3+ years* of experience installing, configuring and supporting software applications
3+ years* of experience with database programming (SQL, PL/SQL, SQR, ODBC, OLEDB, etc.)
Experience working with database development tools (SQL*Plus, Toad, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA)
Experience working within higher education on SunGard Higher Education, Oracle PeopleSoft, Datatel, Jenzabar, SAP or similar technology
Experience working with desktop (Windows 2000, XP), network (Windows NT, 2000, Novell Linux), and web server (Apache, Microsoft IIS) environments
