Dozens of Nolij Corporation customers from near and far rallied during these tight budget times to engage in solution provoking conversations, delicious meals, fun socializing, and long overdue collaboration at Engage 2009 from June 17th through the 19th in Boston, Massachusetts.
During the course of the 2.5 day conference, no one cared about the weather outside as their attention was held by the multiple tracks of presentations given by clients and Nolij employees alike. John Collins’ opening address set the collegial tone for the conference and entertained the audience with screen shots of primitive renditions of the technology, stories of the early days with Villanova , Kennesaw State, Baylor and the University of Richmond (to name a few) as well as his vision for the next 10 years. Joe Head, Dean of University Admissions and Enrollment Services at Kennesaw State University inspired the entire group with his closing day address; reminding all, that enrollment is the prime directive for all campuses. He advised that “the keys to substantive change and growth are document imaging and the digital back office. Nolij stands at the forefront of these.”
The days were packed full of questions and answers, and the evenings brought everyone together for a Reggae Bar-B-Q and a good ol’ New England style clambake. Everyone hung around after hours, getting to know one another, exchanging tips and tricks and lasting well into the night enjoying new found friendships.
