The University of Akron to Present Nolij Web and Nolij Transfer technology at the Oracle/PeopleSoft Alliance Conference
Beverly, Massachusetts (15 Mar 2006) – Nolij Corporation, a leading provider of higher education focused software solutions, announced today plans to join together with The University of Akron to present Nolij Web and Nolij Transfer at the upcoming Oracle/PeopleSoft Alliance Conference.
The University of Akron is currently running PeopleSoft Student Administration, Application version 8 SP1 and Tools version 8.22 and has begun their implementation of Nolij within the office of undergraduate admissions. The University of Akron plans to utilize the suite of Nolij software product offerings within the offices of Financial Aid, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and various other departments. All Nolij technology is designed to interface with The University of Akron’s PeopleSoft DB2 database running under IBM zOS.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will present their strategy and progress on integrating Nolij Web document imaging, Nolij Transfer data upload, and Nolij OCR/ICR data capture solutions into their daily business processes.
The Alliance 2006 conference is an annual event for all higher education, government, and public sector users of Oracle applications. The Alliance conference is organized and managed by the Higher Education User Group (HEUG). The conference will be held in Nashville, TN from March 12th through March 15th at the Opryland Hotel. This is the 9th annual event for the HEUG. The Alliance 2006 conference is open to all employees of Higher Education Institutions, State and Local Government Entities, or Federal Organizations with licensed Oracle products.
