The University of Akron Selects Nolij Technology to Address its Enterprise Level Need for Document and Data Automation
Beverly, Massachusetts (05 Feb 2006) – Nolij Corporation, a leading provider of higher education focused software solutions, announced today that The University of Akron has selected Nolij technology to address an enterprise-wide need for document imaging, data integration, and OCR/ICR forms processing.
The University of Akron plans to implement the full suite of Nolij products including Nolij Web document imaging, Nolij Transfer data integration, and Nolij OCR/ICR forms processing across the University. The implementation will begin in the office of Undergraduate Admissions and continue with Financial Aid, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and various other departments. The suite of Nolij products will be fully integrated with PeopleSoft version 8.X and DB2.
The University of Akron selected Nolij solutions to improve processing speed related to applicant files and to provide a measurable reduction in staff time spent processing and handling documents. Leveraging Nolij technology will enable the University to focus on other needed services, significantly reduce duplicate data and lost documents, and improve the quality and control of data. The ability of the Nolij solutions to integrate with virtually any existing application provides users with more concise information in a timely manner and as a result, improve service to students.
