Columbus State University Selects Nolij Web Document Imaging System
Columbus State University Deploys Nolij Web Technology to Address its Enterprise Imaging and Document Management Needs
Beverly, Massachusetts (23 Apr 2009) – Nolij Corporation, a leading provider of higher education focused software solutions, announced today that Columbus State University has chosen Nolij Web as its enterprise document imaging and workflow solution. Nolij Web was chosen by the University in part because of its ability to integrate with its SunGard Higher Education Banner system and also for Nolij’s commitment to and sole focus on higher education.
Columbus State conducted a thorough review of a number of document imaging vendors before selecting Nolij. The Office of Financial Aid will initially utilize Nolij Web for imaging, workflow and forms design which will facilitate inter-office communication, reduce overall document processing time, minimize record errors due to data entry mistakes and provide a means of securely retaining documents.
Additionally, Columbus State will deploy Nolij Connect which provides the ability for simplistic non-programmatic integration with SunGard Banner. Using Nolij Connect, the Nolij Web document imaging and workflow solution can be quickly and easily attached to SunGard Banner – and any
other business system – by ‘learning’ the application interface and the location of required indexing data elements. A simple mouse-click on the Nolij Connect icon instantly returns a list of Nolij Web documents linked to the current SunGard Banner record.
There will be more benefits as the system expands to the Student Enrollment Division from improving local file and information handling, to facilitating sharing of files and data between departments, refining inter-departmental business processes and increasing the efficiency and security of the handling of all data, sensitive or otherwise.
