Nolij Corporation, a leading provider of higher education
focused software solutions, announced today that James Madison
University (JMU) has completed its analysis of qualified
document imaging solutions and selected Nolij's Nolij Web
document imaging solution to address its university-wide
imaging needs.
JMU has purchased the unlimited use, site license version
of Nolij Web to ensure the availability and eventual rollout
of Nolij Web document imaging technology to all university
departments. The initial implementation of Nolij Web includes
both the Financial Aid and Payroll offices. The Financial
Aid office anticipates capturing roughly 70,000 documents
on a yearly basis, while Payroll plans to capture approximately
65,000 documents per year.
The Financial Aid office plans to begin their implementation
with a backfile conversion effort encompassing roughly 150,000
existing documents. The Payroll office plans to kick off
their portion of the Nolij Web document imaging implementation
by migrating all documents currently stored in their production
Xerox Docushare imaging solution over to Nolij Web.
Nolij plans to utilize its proven 'train the trainer' training
methodology at JMU to ensure the transfer of expertise needed
for JMU technical staff to continue the rollout of Nolij
Web document imaging and workflow technology to the remaining
university departments.
