“The Nolij suite of tools demonstrated the broadest capabilities in the least restrictive set of components for the smallest overall cost. There are two qualitative and one quantitative benefit of our implementation of Nolij on campus.
Quantitatively our Enrollment Management office was able to determine that more candidate documents hand been handled as compared to their prior paper-based process cycles. This was in part due to the process being quicker without actually handling the paper pieces multiple times as well as realizing a shorter mean-time to review per set of individual credentials. Subsequently, they where able to share confirmed student information to external offices earlier in the cycle then they had in the past. Qualitatively they appeared to have eliminated lost/misplaced documents, duplicate documents, improved process step order and control, etc.
One qualitative benefit has been the perceived efficiency gains over the traditional paper handling-processes within an office as they are re-worked into new processes to store that same paper electronically. All to date have resulted in streamlining a variety of associated tasks and methods.
A second qualitative benefit has been the increased types and numbers of documents now more easily available to campus electronically. The day to day limits on institute resources; people, time, space, supplies,…; are unknowingly taxed even more by the well established, traditional document creation, storage and handling processes. When possible making any piece of those processes on-line, on-demand, available anytime at a user’s fingertips is a goal. Nolij Web helps makes that obtainable.”
