Nolij Transfer
“Last year we spent a little over $11,000 for temporary help and a little over $6,000 for overtime. That’s an immediate $10,000 return on investment because we can do away with the majority of overtime and all of the temporary help. And if we can get applications in our system and begin communications with those students faster, it could yield us more or better students.
The week of November 9, they came on site to work with us on the project. Then we started on configuring Nolij Transfer to map data coming from the delimited Common Application file into our Jenzabar CX tables. This really didn’t take long and within the same day we were starting to push data into CX from Common Application. They came back for another site visit the first week of January where we completed configuring the Common Application Online into our train database. We then began configuring Nolij Transfer to move data from a table in CX into the main tables (id_record, profile_record, admissions_record etc.). We worked remotely with Nolij the rest of the month in between other clients to get it perfect and we moved it into production on January 31, 2006.
There aren’t enough words to express how thrilled we are with the Nolij Transfer product. We are planning to use Nolij Transfer to import our SAT and ACT scores, data from our web inquiry page, data from Private Colleges & Universities magazine, data from any delimited source that we get (Peterson’s, College Board, ETS, etc.) They make it so easy. Nolij Transfer cleans the data, formats it and then pushes it into our database effortlessly once the initial configurations are done. It could potentially save us around $11,000 next year in overtime and temporary employment costs. We’ve loaded almost 2,000 applications since January 31!!”
